Bodywork

Massage is best known as a way to help with relaxation and relieve stress.  A gently soothing massage can reduce stress, relieve muscle aches, and improve moods and sleep.  Lesser known is the fact massage also has  medical and therapeutic benefits that can help with more serious medical issues.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It is administered via hands of the Reiki Practitioner and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy"  flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

Yoga

Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga primarily focused on the physical aspect of the practice, emphasizing posture and breathing techniques.  The term "hatha" is derived from Sanskrit, where "ha" means "sun" and "tha" means moon leading to the common interpretation that Hatha practices aim to unite and balance these two energies.
